It's difficult to see bicyclists at night. I wanted to design a sash that could be stored easily, be lightweight, and provide visibility for a rider while not distracting drivers.
I used Electroluminescent wire with an AC converter to produce a steady soft glow. I constructed a pocket for keys or a phone. The wire is sewn with plastic thread so as to not obstruct the light.
